ASICS Footwear... After five years of intensive research and development the ASICS GEL-Kinsei has been created to maximise every aspect of ASICS' pioneering footwear technologies. The updated Kinsei features a new transition bridge stretching from the forefoot back into the heel where it holds the gel units in place. The Kinsei 2 also has a new asymmetrical lacing system that's claimed to move more efficiently with the foot and cause less irritation. Thermal material has also been added to the upper and is designed to release heat when it's hot and retain it in the cold.
