A brief history
Warwick Sports Shop is a family business established in 1979 by Ray and John Hammond. John had already established himself as a middle distance runner, a member of Coventry Godiva Harriers competing at National level and Ray herself was a successful competitor in league netball and badminton teams.
Ray continues to run the business aided by her two daughters, Andrea and Shelly along with a team of 6 fully trained staff. The staff are all active sports men and women each with their own area of expertise.
Over the last 28 year the business has built its success and reputation by providing a professional service and advice based on a thorough knowledge and understanding of the needs of sports men, women and children.

Warwick Sports concentrates on selling the best sports goods with the right specialist advice in a number of fields.

In store we are able to provide a gait analysis and fitting service for footwear. For more problematic cases we have close links with local physiotherapists and podiatrists who can assist us in selecting the right product. Warwick Sports recommends Tudor Physiotherapy.
We can give sizing guidance for shoes, rackets, sticks and bats that is supported by a thorough knowledge of the product range and years of experience.
We are also able to provide a limited number of trial tennis rackets to customers who visit the shop. |
